I just received this .pdf of a recent...

interview I did for a German Magazine called Mountain Bike Rider. I'm super pumped on this magazine. It's always got rad photos and content, and it's a large paper format like Decline or Dirt. I'm also stoked because this interview span's 8 pages and includes a lot of my life now (family/kids etc). The other cool thing is this was for the Eurobike issue. (for those of you on this list that are outside the bike industry, that's the biggest industry trade show of the year in Europe).

Anyway, it's not only a great chunk of exposure for me and my sponsors, but a nice way to share some pictures with friends of what my life and my "backyard" is all about. Special thanks go out to Francois Portmann, www.fotoportmann.com, one of the worlds best photographers, to all my sponsors, and to my family for letting me keep the dream alive (sort of).

Riding Video from Costa Rica Last Week

Hey people. I was lazy and clicked select all from my address book so this may be a random email or it may not. Anyway, you have have been sent a little video from a trip I took last week with my brother and friend to Costa Rica. Aside from two deep sea dives, a bunch of surfing, zip lines, 4X4 missions, bungee jumping, reptile and invertabrate hunting (have you met my brother?) go cart racing, snorkeling, and more surfing, we did a two day; 20 hour cross country moto mission. IT WAS SO WORLD CLASS. The two guides are both Pro woods riders and super pinned, so no matter who you are, you're going to be broken when they're done with you.

As they say in Costa Rica, "Pura Vida!"

Leif Droppin into the 4' Tranny

There's about three more weeks to go, and I won't be able to claim he's still 2 years old any more.

So at 2 years old (sort of) Leif's droppin' into the 4' tranny of the box jump at the super moto track.

It's pretty sick! These push bikes really are a game changer. He's also doing rad old school 180 foot plants on this ramp like 3/4 the way up the tranny.

Top 30 Photo List on Littermag.com

Hey guys.

I made the US Open's top 30 photo list on www.littermag.com. It was so good to see Sven, that I stopped to rap out with him during practice. It has been probably 2 years since I saw him. On the following run, I saw him laying on his stomach in the grass, looking for a money shot of this SUPER FAST grass drifter corner....one of the coarses best turns. As soon as I saw him, I figured the only thing to do was throw the foot up in good ol' fashioned "moto" spirit, and let out a loud "BRRRAAAAPPP". I'm not normally a riding "Brapper" but this turn just warranted it. The quote is priceless too, which is no surprise because it's on Litter!

COVER of Dirt Magazine

Hey Folks!

HOW AWESOME IS THIS! I made the COVER of Dirt Magazine, which is, in my mind, one of the best uses of paper since paper was invented. (with maybe the exception of toilet paper).

The weekend before the US Open, Steve and Victor came over to check out the progress of

"The Proving Grounds", and they captured a little tastiness of my pump track.

Even when you absolutely, positively have no chance of pulling it off.....ya still feel the need to squeeze the frame with your knees, keep the hands on the grips, and absolutely, positively do not take the index finger off the rear brake, just in case you have to need to do some fine adjust landing.
